Here's a link to the one I built. My goats new house
I love it and will be building more as soon as life settles. LOL, I'm practically foaming at the mouth to build more and something else keeps coming up!The latch I stuck on there is temporary and has been replaced with a seatbelt buckle cut from an old car. Totally critter and break proof. This one is nice because if necessary I can lock them in and it can be used for other things.
The kids want one for a play house and I'll be building at least 2 for my chickens.

There is no bottom. I clean it out pretty regularly and every once in a while DH gets on one side and I get on the other and we pick it up and move it a few feet. We're building soil in the front yard!

If you have a rather large barn, why not build it inside the barn?

Our barn is subdivided so it is easy to place a gate only "kids" can get through which gives them a place of their own should they want it.

Doesn't the picture in the thread still work?
I can get more if you like and when I build more (hopefully this week) I'' be taking pictures of the progress.

We made mini run-in sheds from pallets and old metal sheds for the roof. Depending on the time of year and weather, multiple ones can be placed together to keep the weather out. There is no cleaning since I can pick one up and move it to a new place. And best of all, none of our zoning regulations effect it since it isn't technically a building.

Note: We do have a larger barn for the worst weather.
