I'd like to show off my new kids!
I have Nigerians Dwarfs... She had quads! Two boys and two girls. The whites ones are a boy and girl and the reddish brown ones are a boy and a girl! Watch the Slideshow. Nigerians are so cute! They were a week old yesterday.

So cute! Yes, watch that they're all getting their fair share. I had to suppliment some in my quad litter, at least the smaller doe. One thing quads will do as they grow is fight over the teats, latching on like little pitbulls trying to hold on while another tried to push one off, and and they can be brutal on the dam so do a routine check of her teats and udder.

They seem to be rather large compared to the size she has had before. She seems at the moment to be giving enough for all of them. She gives a good amount of milk normally so I think she will be fine.She had three last time. Next week I will start separating them at night. Then I will see how much she is giving. And as is usual for ND's the kids have already started nibbling on hay right along with mom.
Judy, yes that is Cali.
dm9960, no they are all Nigerian Dwarf's. (except the Adult Nubian in one of the pictures)

Congratulations! So adorable. Funny how it's almost like she had 2 sets of twins, The most mine have ever had are triplets & usually they are all so different or all 3 look almost exactly the same.
Glad momma's doing well feeding them all cause I wondered about that if I had quads ever which I hope I don't, I like to dam raise our babies & 4 seems like an awful lot to leave with the mom. Mine have always done really well with 3 though too.

Katie, the kids act like they are two separate sets of kids also. The whites hang together and the reds hang together...

dm9960, no they are all Nigerian Dwarf's.
I forgot I had a picture of Rosie in there! She is a Nubian... not registered, may be mixed with another breed, not sure. If she is mixed it is with a full size goat.
