white on umbilical cord?

I had triplets born on saturday, The smallest one weighed 1.5 lbs, the other 2 were 3 lbs... The little one has white spots on his cord, It took him a day to stand, and now at 4 days old is starting to bounce around and seems ok. the first 2 days he couldn't control his body temp and chilled easily. He is in the house being bottle fed and doing great now. I have just never seen anything like this before. The other 2 cords looked normal...Any Ideas on what would have caused this? I thought maybe some sort of defiency but have not been able to find anything.

I wish someone had an answer for you by now....It is strange but maybe just harmless skin funky-ness that will shrivel up and go away.

I don't know either but I'm going to agree with Minelson too! Looks like in that last picture he's getting a feel already for what a barn is going to look like!

If he's eating & acting normal try not to worry too much unless someone posts something to worry about OK? They know how to make us worry for sure.

Its normal, nothing to worry about.
Kids can not regulate their temp well for the first few days.... why they need to get colostrum into themselves within an hour of being born and need to nurse every few hours.

He is doing great, is really attached to my 5 yr old. It has taken him a couple of days longer to do everything, compared to the other 2. which is fine, he is alot smaller than them too.
I just had never seen the white before and wondered if anyone had ever seen it.
