White Discharge???

My Oberhasli Doe, Helen, is due on Monday the 28th with her second freshening. She is pretty big I noticed she has some discharge (a string of it) coming from her behind for about three days now. What does this mean???

It means she's getting closer to kidding.

Yep, she's just getting ready. It's all natural so just hang in there & try & be patient.

The white discharge can happen a bit (several days, weeks) before birth - once you start to see the opaque, yellow gelatinous mucus, then have your rags ready!!

Zoe started losing her plug on February 19 (5 weeks tomorrow) still no babies. Cocoa started having really white discharge that I knew about 2/4 but didnt think she was due until middle of March. Still no babies from her. Muffin I noticed 1/31 and went into labor 2/8 (1week and 1day) Mollly noticed white on her on 1/29 had babies 2/11 (about 2 weeks) So ck her often, but dont get too excited, like I did. Zoe was the first to show signs of kidding and 5 weeks later, she is still pregnant. I am thinking she should be close to 150 days today or at least the start of the time frame. Never saw it, but put her in with him for 3 weeks on Sept 25th
