signs of impending labor?

My first doe is to kid is on day 139 I shaved her rear today and then notice she had soft poo. I took a few pics of her and the poo. Just want to make sure this is normal and if not what to do about it.

First pic is the poo right after she did it, her poo was normal pellets yesterday as I have been following her around looking at her bum all week..LOL

Looks like she ate too many pears or something.

I would do what you need to do to get those firmed back up. I would just feed grass hay until it clears up and give some probios. But I wouldn't let it go too long since she is preggos. A fecal test might be helpful to see if it's worm related. Can you think of anything she may have eaten to cause this? Anything different or a lot of something??

My LGD did not eat all her food today, she slacks off on food when it gets wormer and I think she may have eaten some or a lot Not sure how much. I did not think about that before. Would dog food make her do that?

Hope she's feeling better today. I was going to say day 139 is awfully early to kid & it was from something she ate.

I'm surprised she ate dog food, seems like the meat in it would send the doe in the opposite direction.

I have a doe who always sticks her nose in the cat food dish as she goes by it in the vestibule between the milk house and the goat yard.
