Nanny bleeding a little from vulva

One of my Saanen nannies that has a 3 week old buckling at her side is bleeding a little from her vulva. It isn't a lot and it does have some "goo" with it too, so I called the vet. They mentioned it's probably her first post kid heat. I have owned dairy goats over the years and have never had one bleed a little bit during a heat, so this is new to me. Has anyone else had their girls bleed a little from the vulva?

She's just getting finished cleaning out from kidding. As long as it isn't excessive or have a bad odor, it sounds normal and she should be about done having discharge.

She is just cleaning out after kidding, sounds perfectly normal to me. Mine don't ever come in heat after kidding because they have kids on them, even if you pulled the kids & are milking her she shouldn't be in heat already after kidding I wouldn't think.

This what I thought too, and the answer that I was given was not directly from the vet himself, so they were probably wrong.

THANKS everyone!!
