Biopryn & CAE report back

Well, I got my biotracking report.
Unfourtunately my 3 year old SG Doe is OPEN arggggh. I'm not sure what I'll do with her, probably stick her in with a buck.

But, every one of the CAE tests came back negative a big fat zero on the inhibition, most of the does are heavy bred and one of those poor does had just given birth two days before. If that's not stress, IDK : )
If I could figure out how to post it to my web page I would. Well I'm so excited I have to read it again, and then I can go to bed :banana02:
this makes at least 5 years in a row of negative testing I believe the first tests I ever had done were in 2001, though I didnt test Every year back then, I always have raised on prevention. But it still is like being on pins and needles waiting to get those results.

My goats and the goat I gave to a friend are negative for C.A.E., too. Unfortunately, a goat she recently purchased is CAE positive. THANK GOODNESS she had her quarantined.

yes, quarantine is very important, as is testing Imediately. I bought a new buck last year a Huge fellow in Feb. As soon as his feet hit solid ground, I drew blood for the CAE test. Then I gave him a shot of CD&T and wormed him, then we tucked him into the quarantine pen.

Congratulations!!!

The vet should have received my results yesterday - but I won't hear until Monday - I've noticed that he usually calls with results the following Monday - does Bio-tracking send those out late? Anyway, even though I know my herd came from a clean herd (she posts her results on her website) and I don't have anything to worry about - still it is going to be a loooooooong weekend!

Oh, I always worry.. lol!

I do not get the Biotracking results via email until 8pm - 10 pm at night, and this was a rarity for me getting them a little after 8 this year usually its 10pm ish or after. And yes I do keep checking, I think I'd not got to bed till midnight waiting waiting waiting.

I got my results at about 7pm. They do say on their site that CAE results are sent out by 5pm pacific time , which is just right for me getting the email at 7:00. Sorry you have to wait until Monday TM, try not to go too crazy.
