Cayenne pepper, orally and on the bleeding area. I uassume she is bleeding out her vagina if she just kidded?? Try a douche. But orally right away. It is wonderful for bleeding. Its what I would use.

Ok, yes, out of her vagina. When she coughs, or when we squeeze her belly, it gushes, oh, and when she squats to pee. I'll try both the oral first and then tell you what happens...

Certainly hemoraging for some reason. Praying for your girl!! You might try rounding up some injectable vitamin K as that is what my vet always reccomends for bleeding.

If she is still alive....milk her. Milking causes her body to release oxytocin which will make the uterus clamp down and shrink up.

I haven't heard anything, praying for the best. If she made it, I'd put her on antibiotics and probiotics for a time. There must have been a tear of some kind to bleed like that.

For future reference, how much cayenne pepper do you give orally?

Sorry about that. She pulled through and is doing great! Thank you so much for your help Emily She's out, grazing with the herd and back to normalcy. I am so thankful for Cayenne Pepper, lol!

YAY!!! Oh those babies are cute! Love the one with all of the white on him/her.

Please do tell exactly what you did with the Cayenne pepper so we can all learn.

Ok, here are the directions and exactly what I did:
~Douche~
1. Mix 2 tablespoons of Pure Cayenne pepper into 2 pints of warm water (not to hot!)

2. Attached an enema tube to the water bottle (it's gravity fed)

3. Hold the doe down (pet her, talk sweet to her, that way it won't be so traumatizing), insert two fingers in and feel around, just to make sure you know where the cervix is.

4. Then insert the enema tube into the doe's vagina and let gravity push the mix in. Don't squeeze the water bottle!! (the doe will probably scream and try to get up, so just make sure you hold her tight.)

Once all is gone out of the water bottle, gently pull it out of her and you're done. Don't freak out, the doe will begin pushing violently (worse than if she was pushing a kid out). After her ordeal, let her take it easy for a couple of minutes and then proceed onto the next step...
~Cayenne Orally~
1. Mix up 2 teaspoons of Pure Cayenne pepper in 30cc of water (preferably warm)

2. Suck it up in a drencher and shoot it fast down the doe's throat (that way it doesn't burn her so bad)

3. Then, drench her with some fresh water right away!

And you're done! This was a very good learning experience. Emily Dixon was such a blessing! I called her at like 10 at night, she helped us figure out what to give her and now she's doing great

I'll be posting the full story on my blog tonight: http://7thundersranch.blogspot.com/

Is anyone interested in the buckling? He's the one with the white "cap" on his head. Email me at: bannerbonanza@yahoo.com if you are.
