So Excited! Shortcake had two bucks kids

She was so big we thought for sure trips or quads but instead she had to BIG buck kids. They are the size of week old mini-alpines. I should be a little sad they are boys but wow you gotta see how flashy one of them is. The other is a light apricot color. Not sure what that is called. Anyone know? Here is the link to view the photos http://ahahahni1.wordpress.com/2011/...ake-had-twins/

I'd probably call the marked one 'Cou Clair', and the apricot color 'cream'.

Chamoise don't have markings on the hips like that, hence why I think he's a cou clair. Chamoise only have feet, a dorsal stripe, and some facial markings at most. I have a chamoisee doeling in my signiture picture.

Congrats! Like the lil Cou Clair boy, he's precious!

I don't get excited about bucks.....lol My mini alpine had twin bucks too, but with them I didn't even get neat colors...just blacks

Will you be keeping either of them?

Nope, I won't be retaining them. They will be for sale as soon as they are weaned. We have a new buck this year so very excited to see new colors other than just black or chamoise.
