Ask everyone involved for CAE test results that are no more than a year old. If you think there might be a problem tell them you will put a deposit down until results come back and offer to pay for testing. Its only $4 per animal plus shipping.
CL test is neg unless there are active abscesses in the herd. I do visual checks on any herds I visit and make my decision based on that, not a test for CL.

What she said exactly. With these does, I'd test them myself unless the CAE tests were done with the last couple months.
