mini nubian

Do mini nubians come into heat seasonally or all year?

It depends on what you want her to do.

If you want her to come in heat all year, she will hold out til August or September, you bet.

If you want her to be seasonal, she will be flagging and flirting with everything that will stand to look at her all year long.

Sorry I don't know the real answer, just couldn't resist.

I had a first generation Nubian two years ago. she kidded for me twice in one year! so i am assuming she went into heat year around. I didn't keep her for a third kidding which I wish I had because she was an awesome goat. (had triplets both times)

I think it just depends on the goat.

We got our first mini nubians last april, they were young & I didn't notice them coming into heat the first time until I think it was September or October, But they were young.

I think they can come in year around like Nigerians or seasonal like some nubians but I think someone told me that even some nubians will come in heat year around too.

You have a year around breeder and a seasonal breeder, when you cross the two the genetics can go either way. Thats why some have long nubian ears and others have airplane ears
