Which dewormer is easiest to use?

We've got our new goats recently and it is time to dewormer them.
The only feed store that is nearby is tractor supply so that's my main option-or I could order online.

What do you use?

It doesnt really matter what is easiest or what works for us as that changes by location. Up north doesnt have the same problem we have here in the south. Letting us know your location would help greatly.
TSC sells everything you could need, Ive been a manager there for 3 years

btw I use a combination depending on what my fecals tell me, I use ivomect for lung, liver flukes and as a preventive for deer worm. I use valsaban/cydectin as a routien wormer and copper bolus for Barber pole worms (resitant to most wormers).

I also use a herbal dewormer when fecals come up normal but I still think somethings off. It will cost you a lot less if you get a fecal and find out what you are deworming for, vrs throwing meds at it that you only think are working.

I hope this doesnt come off as a lecture, Im tired and sick and dont have my good humor hat on

Being in the south you either need to use ivermectin or cydectin. Either way you need to run fecals to tell if it is working.

well most likely you are going to go with the southern method.
Copper bolus for barber pole worms and copper deficiency. Depending on how many goats you have, quest horse wormer may be a cheaper effective method than using cydection, its the same drug just different forms. I would also use Ivomect/ivomectrine.
you may check out www.fiascofarms.com and put wormer in the search and read up on them

I second reading about the wormer on fiasco farm site. Very safe, natural, and sounds very effective. I say "sounds" effective because I haven't used theirs, but use a similar herbal recipe of my own, as does a few of my friends. Our goats our very healthy, and haven't had a worm problem at all. Mine in particular came to us looking scruffy and malnourished, but after starting the herbal wormer they look great now, for old goats. That said, we do live in sandy northern soil. Just wanted you to know that there are good alternatives out there too.

Ivermectin is the cheapest. Just get the horse wormer for five dollars, and use 4cc per 100lbs. Caprine worms are tough because they are so resistant. If you still have issues after using ivermectin paste, then use valbazen.
