Question Boiled flax seed as a feed

I have access to about a 5 gallon pail once to twice a week of organic boiled flax seed...the people boil it to get the "gum" for the shampoo line they make; I got a quick tour today when I picked up the first batch. I fed a cooled off handful to a couple goats as a tester and two didn't seem to like it, while another three sucked up their samples. I think it will spoil quickly, but figured I could let it cool in gallon zip locks (right now it is bilin' hot) and then freeze it. As the goats got up to speed, and as I find out if its a more regular item, then I can feed them more of it? I also wonder how pigs, cattle, and horses would do on it.
