Goats & Beer

Ok heres my second dumb question for the day.
I was reading up on Kobe beef & how they give their steer beer to drink. Has anyone tried this with goats?
I give mine free choice bi-carb as I know it helps their rumen, I figured the beer may have an equal effect.
Could this harm them?

My pygmy doe will mug anyone that comes in the fence with a beer. She gets maybe half a can once a month? Not enough to do anything.

I'll let you know. I think I have some old Shiner Bock I can experiment with.

When we lived in Indonesia, we had an old tough jungle chicken that we planned to butcher for supper. I got it drunk before we butchered it to tenderize it from the inside.
