Telling the differnce between gut movment and baby movement

The people i bought Dolly from told me she is 2 months from kidding. I tried to do the fill test under her belly and to me felt mushy not like a basket ball. Then yesterday while feeding i see her whole belly move it started low down and moved all the way up to the spot in front of her hip were it sinks in. Sorry my body part terminology is not the best lol. So how could i tell if that was baby movement or gut movement. I put my hands on ether side of her belly and thought i felt a kick but im probably just thinking that lol. And if it is baby movement how far along could she be? This is not her first time and she at least 5 yrs old. I just would like to have a month or a time frame where she could have babies err all they could tell me was she was with the buck for a month 3 months ago they said this in January so im guessing sometime in March she will be due.

From what I understand, on the left side is the rumen and it has movement, so you need to feel the right side, last sat while Crystal was laying down, I was petting her and I could feel baby move on the right side.
SInce I am new wait for more advice before you know for sure! lol

I guess I lucked out. I had guests and of course we were out in the goat pasture feeding the girls carrot sticks. Just so happened that we were all looking at the same doe at the same time. Saw a little hoof kick up and out on the upper side on the doe's belly. I could have practically given it a pedicure!

I felt "elbows" on a FF doe last night - up until then I wasn't 100% convinced that she was bred. I feel just in front of the udder (or where the udder will be) for movement. I don't usually find it until they're about six weeks away from kidding - two months away is too early, in my experience.

She and her mother are due "end of February" - no actual breeding date - so I'll be going a little bit bonkers too!

Of course, due dates are a bit like the Pirates' Code - they're just "guidelines. :baby04:

It was the right side dont know what i was thinking when i thought that it was on the left side. I went out to feed and sat and watch them eat and there was some goat gymnastics going on inside her tummy as much as its moving i could not believe it could be the gut. So im guessing from what i read she could be anywhere from 12 weeks to 15 weeks.
I was never patient with the rabbits and they only had a month gestation lol.
