You guys are probably right, babies coming in the next 2 days

About a week and a half ago, Zoe started loosing her plug.
Muffin is so big she can hardly walk, and her udder is getting big.
Friday Molly started with the loosing the plug stuff,

It was stated that they always wait until you have like a snow or ice storm!, Well apparently we are getting that starting in the morning! So just my luck even though they should be ready to go TODAY it will probably be monday or tuesday, well at least I will be home, with all my supplies!

Well how they doing today? Has the storm hit there yet? It's heading from your way to ours, I'll be so glad when all the really cold temp's & snow are done for this season myself & mine don't even start kidding until April! I'm tired of the weather myself already though.

Today they are still BIG Muffin started loosing her plug today, and still no signs of labor and as far as I can tell they have their ligs, Muffins have always felt looser than the others, according to DH but I cant tell still, so who knows, now that it has been 2 weeks since Zoe started loosing her plug, I wasnt too excited this morning. Muffin (the herd queen) has been going up to other goats and nicely laying her head on them...lol so that is different than usual. So now they all need to hold those babies in until like fri or sat.

Now that we have a seperate (really seperate) boys pen, we wont have them so early next year, knock on wood!

hmmm, nasty storm on the way, does about to pop.

You can either resign yourself to trudging back and forth in the weather, or just go ahead and make yourself comfy in the barn with a nice giant thermos of your favorite hot beverage, a bucket to use as a bathroom, a couple good books and some blankets and sleeping bags! You're gonna be there a while!

Hmmm... Is the barometer dropping?

My goats have always loved to go into labor at the same time, the night of the storm...

When people with achey joints start rubbing their knees and saying they can feel the storm coming, the babies get delivered that night.

Maybe they will wait until friday now.....I hope i hope i hope!!

Funny how this post came true with the exception of the 3 does I was thinking were any minute and it goes and is a doe that showed no signs, felt ligs around 7pm, no discharge ever that I saw. No acting strange, although I only got her 2 weeks ago, so I really wouldnt know, I wish wintrrwolf was here to see her!!! Crystal was her goat until 2 weeks ago. Well now to wait for the others, still hoping they will wait until friday or something. I need another kidding pen though as muffin and zoe are buds so having them together is fine and they are small but molly is full size and needs her own pen, although I put her daughter from april in with her. Now I dont know where to put her....uugg, as I dont want to move new mamma and new baby out of the kidding pen just yet.

Oh, okay. I was like -- what in the world?! You'd have to be crazy to post that you had kids but not post pix in the goat section. People will hunt you down! *lol*
