My "still" pregnant Rosie (Pics)

Still nothing. Keep thinking she looks close and checking... Nada! Anyway, opinions? If you can form any from this distance?

Thank you :-) She's such a brat, tries to break my nose when I milk her, has a congested udder that is going to require a lot of work probably (did last year) but she's my brat :-) A lot of my animals are misfits and would be in someone else's freezer by now. Think that's one reason I love them so LOL

Oh, I know she's pregnant, got a full-faced look at one on ultrasound a few weeks back. Been accusing my buck of liking the dog better than her because he never got "stinky". He'd done the job so fast he didn't have time to get in rut LOL Just wish he'd stayed in the fence so I'd know when! I thought I'd missed her season, so can't remember for sure the last heat, plus some seem to have a pseudo heat after being bred... Argh! Oh, and she's got "goo" again tonight. We just spent the last hour staring at each other while I looked for more signs...

She's definately getting bigger Carol~ I don't know when but I'm dying to see the babies!

I'd still have put her in the freezer last year if she were mine...but as long as your dealing with her...thinking of selling any doe kids? She sure is pretty for such a bratty goat!

You'd need to get Stripe to adopt one before Rosie taught her bad habits LOL But with all the boys this year... Sigh. I'll get another Lupin

ligs are gone, watch for her vaginal area to sink in, like most things that itself can vary

Pretty doe! From what little I know about it, looks like a nice udder. Maybe she won't be as much work for you this time around. Power of positive thinking, you know. And yeah, those ligaments look gone to me from here. Can't wait to see baby pictures!

ayYup, those ligs are gone! Go to the house, and start cooking something you have to watch very carefully......she'll have them then; just as a pot is about to boil over......Doe Code....

Vaginal area sinking in? Going to look for pics! I've been saying the coochie looks poochy, as in swollen... Be so much more helpful if she wasn't determined to keep me away from that area at all costs!

She ate a huge meal while I was shaving the "important places", so, she has me thinking she's waiting till the weather goes bad... Of course she is! What was I thinking?!?! And still nothing. I'd get very worried, but she's not really pushing or anything, just yawning, stretching, rubbing, pawing... And occasionally laying down and sticking a back leg out... Then gets up and asks if I have something good. <scream>

Gretta started pawing the day she delivered. UGH! I know how difficult this waiting wondering game is...Did I tell you how my hubby was out of town on business and I made him change his flight to get home because I though Gretta was going to have the babies any second? He did...paid the penalty...rushed home to nothing. It was actually 3 weeks later that she gave birth. I also canceled a trip to AZ I had booked to visit my mom in early Dec. She had the twins Jan 16th. Frankie and Flossie were actually pretty expensive baby goats when you think about it! LOL! worth every penny
