What a Surprise!

Went to the barn this am and one of the goat mommies surprised us with new twin babies! Really was not expecting to see any until NEXT Friday. I have a new pure black and a pure white pair of Niggie twins. The black one is a female and is now named Ebony. The white one is a male and is now named Ivory. So cute and look very healthy and seem to be nursing well.

So-I need to make sure I do all that I can for them. Last spring was a first year for me and I was really "dumber that a box of rocks" when it came to kid and mom care. Today I was planning on giving a shot of CD&T to all moms that are due the month of Feb. This mom, like I said, started a week early. All goats had CD&T in August with hoof trimming, Ivermec Plus and Copper Bolus. Now what should I do? I have been calling vets to get BoSe but alas, vets in 2 counties here do not do goats and one just told me that they cannot get BoSe anymore. Just wanted it in case of an emergency. I have been adding med items a little at a time as well as equipment for several species of animals so it all takes time as well as money. But--

For Goats I currently have:

Probios
Banamine
CD&T
Vit B Complex
BoSe (jsut ahd a vet call me and will sell to me-going to go get)

What else do I need in my animal care bag : help:

OMGosh. I forgot to say anything about that in my post. I am the worlds worst picture taker. Nice fancy Cannon Rebel XLT, lens galore, filters , books and etc. Just no hope. I will try but no promises. I might get the back end only or the ear only or even just a hoof but an entire goat and one that is picture perfect-forget it. But--I will go to the barn now and start and see what I get. Even if I get one then the problem is to get it posted. I have 5 more does to go so we shall see. Maybe I will get better at it.

OK-Went to barn to take pics and mommy did not like it! She kept getting in the way and hiding the babbies. Hope they show up.

Ok It is linked ok. Included my pics of the bucks I have-A Nigerian/Arnols, A nubian/Cessna and an Alpine/Warrior. THe pic of the two girls is a mother(black) and one of her first twins. The mother and the daughter are Niggies and both gave me twins last year-all bucks. So far this year I have the twins born today and the other one-the beige one is due soon. Looking for twin girls. I really would like to have more Niggies and a few more Nubiens, Alpines and I would like to add some LaManchas.

Darling pictures of the babies! Make sure to worm mama goat after kidding. Some iodine for the navels would be good too.
