Nubian X Alpine (second thing to go)

After a week of searching, I looked back into the address book and surprisingly enough found the old boy I got the pack-goat from. He said it was a nubian/alpine cross wether, which after looking at a few photos I found, do look much like what I believe the cross could pull off as far as offspring goes. He was an awful tall goat (much taller than the nubians I found) named Chuck and was very strong as the kids actually rode him as I lead them around the yard... like most other goats I've experienced, he'd do just about anything for a marshmallow.

The reason I brought up the subject is because I'm wanting to try my hand at crossing a Boer with a long lanky type to see if I can produce a stronger, stockier type. I really love our Boers as they are so easy to get along with and don't get excited over anything but food, so I'll still maintain them as long as I can, but I also like experimenting with breeds (like I do with our chickens) to see what else I might think is interesting.

Any thoughts on the subject?
