Talking Baby pics :)

My Daisy had her babies two days early last night. Actually quite glad because I was home. The little boy would have froze to death if I wasnt home to take him inside. The doeling was born first and bigger and Daisy was not too interested in cleaning the buckling. He perked up in front of the wood stove and she did take him back this morning. Thankfully I had 9 cc of frozen colostrum and some gel colostrum from Jeffers. He got both mixed with some whole milk, about 3 ounces total. By this am he was up and crying so took him outside and she took him back no problem.
Will it be a problem that he got the manufactured and tiny bit of frozen colostrum for the first 12 hours? I couldnt milk any out of mom but the doeling was able to nurse it out ok. Her teats are just not big enough (FF) for me to grab with her kicking around. they are nigerians. I probably wont be keeping the doeling. I would be if she came out looking like her hansome cou clare brother!

I'd love to actually trade her for a moonspotted registered doeling. I could drive and meet someone halfway! The buck is a laurel haven boy with Caesar's Villa sire. Dam's sire is yellow rose feature page.

I trust me she is gorgeous, I just dont have alot of room and have to be way too picky about who I keep. I dont want to be on "Hoaders" with goats jumping around my house, well, actually I do!
Oh, and they both have wattles
