I just got my first nubian doe this past weekend and have a couple questions.

She is about a year old and her name is Sassy.

How do you figure out the weight? I figure i need to know now before i have an issue.

She is really a differance from my NDs. They really look short now!

Do all nubians sound kinda like cows? I was not expecting that, i thought she would sound like the others, just louder.

Use a tape measure to find the circumference of her chest behind her front legs and the chart at the following website to convert inches to pounds.

Yep, that's how the Nubians sound! I've got both also, kinda neat hearing the different "Maaa's".

We just got our first nubian last summer. We have Nigerians & a few mini nubians but first full size nubian. We love her & those long ears, she's so cute, almost dorky acting!

Hey Alice, I just was wondering if that weight chart would work for all breeds of goats or only the full or standard size?
