Ohhhh, I'm so uncomfortable, moan

I have a doe that isn't due till mid-March but she still lies around and moans like it could be any time. Last year she did this for a month before kidding. She started early this year. She cracks me up. I hope this video comes through. Click on her picture.

Sorry, couldn't figure out how to delete this after the link didn't go through. How do you delete a post?

I don't think you can delete a post; only mods can do that. You can go in with the "edit" button, though, and delete out what you want to.

Sounds like me with my last kid - I think I waddled around complaining for at least the last month if not longer.

I have a doe that I expect will start kvetching any day now if she follows her previous patters and she isn't due until the middle of March. She is just looking for sympathy rub downs.

She's singing to her babies! My Nubians all do that. I love walking down to the pasture to hear them sing.

Oh, is that what she's doing? Do your Nubians also make that noise when they eat? She and her daughter are the only ones who groan when they eat.

My one Nubian does that, moans all the last month and moans when she gets something good to eat. She also will walk into a nice patch of grass and lay down to graze. Silly goat.

...very funny! Yes, I've had several goats moan when they were very pregger. AND I have several that moan and groan when they are eating - 'singing'...

Hysterical!

LOL! Silly goatie girls!

Trub only seems to do her moaning number when I'm out there to enjoy the full effect. Nick went out to check her a few hours ago, and she made nary a whimper. I just went out, and she groaned and moaned and just had to put her head in my lap...

It's all for effect.
