Well that was about all the fun I want today

the doe I had doubts to make abort or have kids finally kidded today, 20 days after loosing her ligs and getting a big full udder.
Now, for the fun part. she lost her plug earlier this morning so Im thinking ok, nothing else seems to be going on so I went to town to buy feed, made it back, everything seemed still normal.
Then about the time I get my lunch done and my little one almost asleep I hear goat screams. Alright we got some action going on

I go out I have a foot, a nose and a tongue, I go in and can NOT find the other leg. This is a big kid even for a normal size doe so theres no room to do much, after fooling with it we head to the vets full speed ahead 80mph

so what happens next, I look in the dog crate I put her in that is next to me in the truck and there is this large black thing hanging out her backend about half way to the vets office. Much to my surprise the little brat is still breathing i pulled over and pulled it out then cleaned its mouth off, and proceeded to the vets office.

I love my vet, we took her in he examined her and the baby just to make sure she was done.

Ill let you guess the sex and the vet bill

I'm going with the glass is half full : its a doe and the vet bill nothing. If I'm right, that glass is half full of margarita and you have already enjoyed the first half. If I'm wrong the glass is half full of bear pee and you drank the first half by accident thinking it was Mountain Dew.

What was the $7.79 for? Not the vet visit. You must have bought something, right?
Congratulations

Nope thats how much he charged me. Kinda weird too because when I had to take the babies I just had to the vet it was only $44 and he to do some tube feeding to the lamb, gave me a bottle of dimethox and plus gave all three shots of nuflor.
Im to fluffy to be that cute but praise God for the blessing as I am friggin broke

Do you have a three-ring circus there, or something? I'd SAY that's enough excitement for one day. Heck, that's enough for a YEAR.

Anxiously waiting for pics.

HAHAHA better you than me! Sorry, ya know......

Actually my large (meat) animal vet only charges me for what he does, no expensive office call. Luckily we don't use him much, knocking wood as I say this.

LOL, sorry about that LSC.

And now, that is enough of the trouble makers. This is the third such birth I have heard of that had trouble and the kidding season just started. All the rest of the kiddings this year need to smooth as glass for everyone.
