Well heck

I'm having to tube feed Daisy's boys. They just aren't getting anywhere near enough milk from her and the little one isn't thriving so I brought him to the house and tube fed him (he refuses to take a bottle). The bigger kid (#2) is stronger but I'm sure he isn't getting enough either so I'll try a bottle again today and then tube him if he doesn't take it. Temps are going down to single digits tonight so he's going need a full belly to help stay warm, I need to leave at least one with Daisy.
I hate when stuff like this happens, it's so frustrating on top of all the other things. Plus I go for an open MRI on my lower back today too. I don't have time to be "down" for any reason!

Oh, I can sympathize with you! Bottle feeding is a big enough inconvenience, but tubing is a pain in the hinder. I'm glad you are sticking with the little ones tho and not just letting nature take is course. Sometimes after 2-3 days they "get it" and take right off.

Dang. You're in Ohio.

Times like these I wish we were as close geographically as we are electronically.

I hope your MRI comes out with good news & hopefully those little one's will get the knack of the bottle soon, don't give up they will eventually take it & maybe Daisey's milk will start coming in better too if they are still nursing off of her when they are with her!

We are having really cold, cold temp's here too, below zero at night actual temp's, I'm so glad I don't have any babies this early!
