Sophie kidded! Pics

Even with a camera I didn't sleep too well as I woke up every hour I think but thankfully all I had to do it raise my head and look at the tv! Still I'm whipped tonight.
Anyway, Sophie had quads at 4:00 this afternoon, and by 4:16 she was done. She cleaned about an hour or so later and is a very good mama. We must have bonded well too because when I left her to bond with her kids, she yelled and yelled for me so I stayed with her until evening holding her hoof. OK, and playing with the babies!
She had 3 bucks and a doe. I'm naming the doe (Black with beige and white buckskin) after Sue (Rucker) as Sofie came from her herd. Sometimes when I'd mail Sue, she wouldn't get back to me right away and sometimes I'd worry about her so I'd email again with the subject line, "SueBeeDooBeeDoo, where are you???" So the doe's name will be SueBeeDoo. I sure miss my friend and am sad she isn't here to see them.
Well, most of the pics were blurry so I only got a couple decent ones for now.
I'm going to pull the 2 biggest boys tomorrow and bottle feed them.
Here they are! Doesn't she look proud?

How precious. I never realized goats would have quads. I was shocked why one of my pygmies had triplets last year. Can't image 4 of them though, but they sure are adorable, as is Sophie.

LOL! So is Sophie! She didn't know WHAT to think when I set the first one in front of her and then I kept plopping more down and the look on her face was funny, like, "What am I suppose to do with all these??"

Awwww, they are so cute Kim, Congratulations! And QUADS! I sure hope I don't have any quads this year. I would rather not bottle feed any if I don't have too.

Can't wait for more pictures!
