Ya, go ahead and gloat about your nifty camera...while I just spent the last four hours in the barn in the same weather waiting for Twyla to deliver her single buck kid.

Those quints have to come out at some point.

As long as everyone's healthy.

We used to have a barn camera for our brood mares back in Alabama. I remember one mare that waited until we quit watching the camera and sat down for dinner. She foaled out by herself. Right now we just have a baby monitor up for the goats though.

Where did you get your barn camera? Ours was pretty expensive, but that was many moons ago and I know the technology is probably cheaper now.

Any idea on brand name? How do you watch it - through the TV/computer? Do you have to run lines??

Sorry for so many ?'s and thread hijack - I think I'm going to ask for one for my birthday that's less than a month away...

Congrats on Sophie in labor - I'm sure we'll get baby pics soon.

Thank you!
Brand name is Lorex. Watch it through the TV, not computer (I wish). We ran the 100' wires along a cable to the barn. Our barn is metal and wireless cams don't work well and not at all in bad weather.
