Wide Loads My pg does

I have two Reg. Alpine does for home milk. The leased buck "Chance" was here Oct 17 to Nov 11th. Not possible for an earlier breeding. Shilo got bred on Oct 18 and Anna on the 24th. I have had goats for years. Chance made quite a pungent odor, that I didn't wait for a 2nd heat cycle.

Shilo age 6 Due March 15........

Anna age 4 Due March 23..........

I feel trips or quads in her future. I will be right there when they kid!

Poor Anna! How does she move around without injuring herself?

Trips or quads?!?! It looks like she's going to have octuplets. Poor thing. By March she may not have to give birth she'll just split right down the side.

Wow they are big already, even Shiloh looks like she is gaping in the back end already but alot of her size looks like she also has a nice fluffy winter coat too. I sure hope poor Anna has a nice fluffy coat also to help justify her size, boy I feel sorry for her & about 2 more months still to go. I don't know how she'll still be walking, she'll most likely be waddling! Poor girl will most likely be uncomfortable by then.

I talked to the seller. Anna was huge last year too They thought maybe she got bred earlier but she went to her original due date....she had triplets,,,,being so big they were looking for more. So it just the way she carries her kids more out to the side than down low, I will be hovering and helping her.

Agreed. Progressive pictures. And pix of the kids! Wouldn't it be funny if she just had one in there and it was just laying sideways, all spread-eagle?

I have a nubian/saanen who gets real wide like Anna when she's pregnant. She's due around the same time too. Last year when she looked like that she only had 2 kids. She laid around and moaned the last couple weeks. Can't wait to see how many Anna has.
