Great looking goats but they DO look disgusted with the snow! Ours is almost all melted off and now we're in the super muddy stage.

No wind - that's become my new dream. You should be honored to be such a powerful being that you can make water freeze and fall from the sky...
Nice goats and looks like everyone was enjoying the nice day!

They were definitely enjoying the temps and lack of wind. They spent the day following the sunny patches around their pen as the day progressed. We did get the snow on their spools scraped off but they would have been much happier if we had removed every little piece of it from their pen.

Ok so I dont know much about goats, but the ones I have seen have long floppy ears. I noticed that your goats, have very short ears, is this a breed thing, or a health thing or what?

They're adorable, but that's a given since they are Lamanchas.

Nice looking goats! Your right though, they look pretty upset about the snow & the 2nd picture looks like that goat is saying to you "Do something"! Some of my young one's that this was there first winter did that the 1st snow we got this year.
I still don't think they Love it but they just don't mind it either anymore.

Your goats are really pretty. It tickles me when they have their fur all "poofed up".

I like your goats too Oak Bucket. They are very attractive and very dairy. I hope to make it over to your farm one of these days and see them in person. Of course that will be when all that nasty cold white stuff is gone for good!

Lamanchas do have the sweetest souls of all the dairy goats. Roxanne was my son's best friend a few years back. He could pour out his heart to her and she understood. It really was sweet and set me on the road to LaMancha-ville!
