Caprine cookbook?

I am looking for the name of a caprine cookbook I had came across sometime back on the net. It said it held over 300 recipes, but was no longer in print. I forgot to write down the name of it & was going t try and find it, any help would be great. Thanks

Is it by Mary Jane Toth? If so, it is probably Caprine Cooking. Sometimes you can find it used on Amazon (I found mine that way - but you have to watch for a reasonable price). If not, she also wrote Goats Produce, Too, which isn't as comprehensive but is still a good book - definitely easier to find.

HTH.

May I ask, is that a book on how to cook goat? Or milk related recipes? Sounds interesting-honestly I enjoyed eating goat at our Mexican restaurant but their spices are a family secret, which I respect but I'm always a little afraid of cooking something that new without a good recipe.

Goats Produce, Too, is all about milk, cheese, yogurt, AND cooking with goat meat (chevon.)

Caprine cooking is both - also is on Amazon for $28 used (2 copies). The first time I looked (2 years ago) was $90+. I bought mine for $32 about a year ago.

Ooops. Now I see Alice's response. Caprine Cooking is Goats Produce Too on steroids.... Has recipes for both, but more & more detail.

Thanks so much, I think I'll keep an eye out for it.
