CRAZY Breeding Season!

This breeding season has been absolutely nuts. Never had anything like it before.

Does would come into heat, and the buck would do his job. Three weeks later, in heat again. Once again the buck would do his job. Three weeks later, in heat AGAIN. (Not all of the does, but enough to make me nutz.)

BioTracking confirms that six of the seven in question are definitely bred. Problem is, I have two or three possible kidding dates for them!

Some probably settled on the first breeding, some on the second; who knows????

AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!

You're gonna have some long days ahead come spring! Don't you hate when that happens!?

We're in the same boat for spring kidding, spread out over a couple of months, but uncertain about exact dates. But at least they're all bred!

Sounds like there will be lots of days filled in on the calendar with ?? marks. I've had that happen here too but usually only have 2 sets of dates. Spring is going to be long at your place but can't wait to see all those baby pictures when they get here!

It must be the year. I have a hugely pregnant goat bred four times...or not. The first two due dates have past and the next is around the first of Feb. She is big enough that I can't see the fourth "bred" time being possible so..now we wait and see if the next two weeks bring us kids!
The last breeding was March 21st whereas all the other times were three weeks apart.
It has made me crazy!

Sharon, Coffee Bean (black head) is bred. Cocoa Bean (brown head) is the only one who hasn't settled yet. Happy (reg minimancha) is a very aggressive breeder, though. I think he'll get the job done!

I remembered that you'd told me the one doe hadn't settled...I was hoping you'd have better luck getting it done. I'm curious to see what they throw for you.
