Need advice for pressure sores

Chrissy, my little doeling born on Christmas, is finally up and walking well. She does, however, have two pressure sores, right at the point of her elbows. I have clipped the hair around them and been keeping them wrapped with Tri-care ointment, changing the bandages daily. Is there anything else I can do to speed up the healing of these. They look really bad, but do not appear to be infected. She's eating well, so appears to be feeling ok. Any advice is appreciated.

They need to be kept dry, and they will start skinning over. If she has clean bedding in her lounge spots, I'd leave the wrap off during the day.

Deep sores moist, skin surface dry is a light rule of thumb on wounds. I love tri care but some scarlet spray or wound care might be a better option.

At the nursing home they put mylanta on it. It coats them and works just like it does for ulcers in humans. I assume it would work for a goat as well as a human. And if it gets licked off, it won't hurt her.

Here's a link

Since you've been using the Tri-Care & they don't seem to be getting better(I Love Tri-Care too by the way). I would go along with Cannon on this one & try a spray of some kind like Blucoat, etc.
Make sure her bedding is clean & dry. Her up walking around & spending less time on those spots now will also help them heal faster.
