1 goat per 1/3 acre

We are looking for a little more land, (we currently have right at 1 acre) for our family, human and otherwise. I just learned from the real-estate lady that you can have 1 goat per 1/3 acre. We live in Hall county GA. So if you ever wanted to know.

We didn't ask before we got our 2 goats, we just made sure the neighbors got fresh eggs and homemade cookies .

When I started out with goats I called and checked what the local rules and regulations were. I was told that as long as we were zoned for farm animals and they have food, water, shelter, and "adequate" space they would be fine.
That seemed a little too subjective...everyone's idea of adequate is not the same.

I grew up in Whitfield county GA, and most of my mom's family is still there. I wonder if there's a limit on how many goats per acre you can have there? We usually had 3 or 4, and we had about 3 acres...
