Looking for hair goats in Colorado

I remember someone posting a while back about having hair goats in central colorado. I was hoping to get in contact while I was out here.

Are you talking about Fiber goats like cashmere or angora?

Sweetgoats in the only one I know of here in Colorado with fiber goats. She is even a judge now but she is not Central she is more Southern CO.
Weld County will have a Goat Extravganza in March (I think) and she will probably be there as well as other fiber breeders. I have never been to one of their classes but they may have a fiber one as well. When are you coming out here? Sooner then March?

I may have missed if another member on here is in CO with fiber goats. I do not have them so I do not read posts about them often.

I am in Colorado at the moment, but will be headed back to Arkansas by March. Was just hoping to get together with someone with fiber goats (probably a better term than "hair") while I was here and get an idea if I am truly interested in buying some to go along with my little alpine herd.

I really thought that the person I was thinking of was to the east of the springs.

I think that is the area she is in, but that is not considered Central CO. Here is her website:

Funny, I have always considered The Springs up To Denver to be central.
I think that may be who I was looking for, thanks. Where in CO are you?
What goats are you running? Really wanting to get out and see a couple of dairy goat operations while I am here if I can as well. Have nerver gotten to see anyone else's place but mine and would like to see what I can learn.

I am about 90 mins North of the Springs. I am not currently milking, too cold and my does are due in the Spring. I do know of a lady not a member of the forum who has a dairy goat herd that are milked daily as she sells dairy shares. Only way to sell milk here in CO She has all large dairy goats, a variety. Very nice lady, she is near Johnstown. If you want to see her place let me know I can call her and go with you....but you would be responsible for any kids I bring home lol.
I have Nigies, Nubians, mini Nubians and a pair of LaManchas one regualr size one mini. Due to CO's stupid milk laws I do not sell milk. I sell goats in milk or kids. Any milk I get it stays here.

Wouldn't 90 minutes north of the springs put you back into Denver? I like the law in Arkansas which allows me to sell 100 gallons a month off the homeplace.

I will definitely get with you on going out to see her place. What days are you usually free?
Definitely interested in seeing the minis. Haven't seen any in person as of yet.
