He finally "gets it"!

I was gone for a few days for Christmas. I hate to leave the critters because when I get home I find a lot of things get "missed" while I'm gone. Well this time I came home to WONDERFUL! Hubby did everything and then some!! It was perfect! He even vacuumed and made the bed! WOWZER. He cooked a perfect prime rib roast. The goats, horses, chickens were all perfect. It was like I never even left. I am thrilled and so proud and happy with my husband. He really REALLY out did himself. This has been the best Christmas in a looooong time

Sounds great! Glad you came home to it all being done. There is nothing worse than coming home to a disaster of a kitchen, laundry piled high, and animals hungry. Makes you want to weep!

I had a similar experience. We had a friend take care of the animals and our home while we were gone for 4 days. She emailed every day to give me updates and all was well when we got home. She also shoveled the snow from our driveway, emptied the ashes from the woodstove and had a fire going for us. Totally above and beyond the call of duty. It's such a relief to find someone like this.

What a nice surprise! You got a few days away with your family & still more surprises when you came home! I bet he now realizes all that you do around there everyday now too.

WOW. I have been working on mine for 20 years, and almost give up. Usually a disappointment when I get home. I don't leave much.

Much Congrats at being a better husband trainer than me! hahahaha!
