Sent blood to biotracking for CAE

for the first time. I've always used WSU for CAE testing, but decided to try biotracking this year. I don't like to change my routines but this year I was broke and biotracking was cheaper. And I've heard very good things about them.
Pulled blood on Sunday, sent it via UPS ground, and got the test results in my e-mail on Friday evening.
All negative once again!!
All in all, I am super pleased with biotracking and will be using them again!

Yea, I can't complain, I love that I can do the pregnancy testing on the same blood sample. Congrats on the results!

I'll be doing some pregnancy testing in about a month. I was trying to decide if I should go ahead and do an extra CAE test too since I will be sending blood in anyway... I normally CAE test through WSU in the summer when I have my TB and Brucellosis tests done for certification and accreditation. I guess it wouldn't hurt to test twice a year...

Saanengirl, why do you test for TB in Ga? Do you show in Florida or have cows too?

I also used BioTracking for my pregnancy test and was very happy with the speed etc. I sent the blood on Wednesday the 8th and had my email results on Thursday the 9th! How cool is that?! I will for sure use them for CAE and preg testing next year.

Since I've been negative for several years, I normally test once a year, in the fall. But this year a friend needed to test a doe for a buyer this past spring and to split shipping and session costs, we went together. So my herd got tested twice this year.

I maintain a certified and accredited herd for show and sales purposes. Even though state certification and accreditation is enough for most shows, I prefer the peace of mind of maintaining my status. I have had opportunities in the past to export bucks because I maintain a certified and accredited herd that is also certified scrapie-free.

Yeah, I do love Biotracking! Haven't used WSU so I wouldn't know how they operate, but Biotracking is always cheerfully helpful on the phone, have rapid response time, and the price is quite reasonable.

Same goes for WSU, I was very pleased with the service. But seeing as how biotracking can show me titer levels and can save me money....I'll be using them again.
