Took the camera out today as it was slightly warmer.

The does were foraging for acorns:

The doelings are starting to look pregnant:

If you look closely at Zambia here(on the left), you can see her healed broken leg below the knee. It was badly shattered.

And of course Spritzer had to get in on the pictures!

Great Pictures! My goats would just love to be foraging out in that type of weather right about now!

When is your first doe due? A couple in the first few pictures look like they just might pop!

Yeah, I like the variety too. But my favorite are the pearls, they are what I grew up with.

VERY happy with the healing!! I was afraid she would never walk on it. It was a terrible break, all splintered and a cut to the bone. She hung her leg in something high and twisted on it until my sister heard her screams.
She was bred right before it happened, I was afraid she would abort. But she looks very bred!
Spritzer manages a loony picture each time she sees the camera.

That is awesome...I love a happy ending to a break. It amazes me how they can mend

Yes they DO!! It used to make me so mad when we were commercial milking the large goat herd. They would spend all day searching for acorns once they started falling. Running from tree to tree and ignoring the eats that actually MAKE MILK.
Now....I don't care.

I may be partial to Nigerians but that goofy Spritzer is too adorable! I think LaManchas are so cute and I have never met a nasty one yet. That may be my next choice or maybe Golden Guernseys. I am such a dork, talking about adding and I am trying to sell mine. I guess its window shopping for goaties.

Ah, Emily, they're looking good - and definitely pregnant! How wonderful!

Didn't know that your gal Zambia shattered her leg. Goofy goats! I hate it when they do that... Reminds me of the night Beaux snapped his leg in two, and the day Trub got her leg caught in the tree.

Wonderful pics!
