Another breeding question? Maybe she's not.

I have a four year old doe that I though was bred. But today she is flagging her tail and chatting and making eyes at my buck. Her pen and the buck pen are separated by a five foot isle. So I put her in with him to see what would happen. He was very affectionate and mounted a couple of times and then chased her around. They seemed to be having fun so I left her in there.

Would she let hem mount at all if she were all ready bred? I didn't have a due date on her she was just in with the buck before.

I was sure I felt babies moving on the right side facing her head. That is the baby side right?

Thanks for any info.

My older pregnant does sometimes will let the buck on them, but move away or butt them quickly afterwards. Nothing even close to a breeding. Maybe they're just getting lazy and moving slowly. They are slower to react than the younger does.

My Snubian doe was VERY pregnant, but that didn't stop her from going over to my buck and teasing him.

Guess she wanted to be sure of her femininity even though she was as big as an orca...?

LOL

"Do these kids make my butt look big?" with that careful-how-you-answer arched eyebrow look at the buck.

That is too funny! I will hope that is it.

I plan on using Biotracking for her CAE test. Have to wait till the end of the month. I guess if she still has me guessing I'll do a preggo test too. I better make note of today though, in case I need to know a due date from today. That would make her due 4/10/2011 according to this web site:

How far along did you think she was?? You can very rarely feel the kids before 4 months bred, then its usually along the bottom edge of her side/stomach, right in front of the udder.
