MorningLand Dairy - court date

MorningLand Dairy was given 24 hours notice of a court date last Friday, and then it was cancelled. The food police are stepping up their attack.

This makes me so mad, I wish I were closer to MO. I'd like to fill that courtroom with all kinds of people like us that think this is beyond crazy!

Grrrrr. What gets me is where it says they are filing a preliminary injunction to (among other things) prevent them from "continuing and future violations of Missouri's dairy law."

Future violations??? Are they serious, they are actually going to file an injunction against future things they may or may not do? What the hell happened to innoocent until proven guilty? Since when can they come after you for something you might do in the future?

So, "Big Brother" is looking out for "their" Adult children, who apparently can not be allowed to make up their own minds about what they(Adult children)will consume.....
PURE COMMUNISM, is all this is.
Folks of right mind should be allowed to make their own decisions on what they wish to consume.

I wish it was as easy as communism. It's waaay past that. It's a police state, Fascism.

Fascism is a radical and authoritarian nationalist political ideology.Fascists seek to organize a nation according to corporatist perspectives, values, and systems, including the political system and the economy.

Fascists believe that a nation is an organic community that requires strong leadership, singular collective identity, and the will and ability to commit violence and wage war in order to keep the nation strong.[15] They claim that culture is created by the collective national society and its state, that cultural ideas are what give individuals identity, and thus they reject individualism.[15] Viewing the nation as an integrated collective community, they see pluralism as a dysfunctional aspect of society, and justify a totalitarian state as a means to represent the nation in its entirety.

Sad but unfortunately true. We are going backwards, not forward.

Wow, the law isn't this tough for child rapists. They need some really good attorneys and a LOT of support.

But they'd defend the rapists. What's it going to take to turn this country around ...dare I imagine?

It's going to take ALL of us who are outraged to DO SOMETHING. Make calls, write letters, show up at the court date.

Does anyone know someone who works at Channel 10 or Channel 3 in Springfield? CALL THEM. Send them the links with the info.

It's not enough to be outraged.

I can believe this is happening. In a sense we have let some things get to this point. It is happening all around. Counties and cities are coming in an shuting down the small farmers efforts to produce. Here we can only have 20 chickens now. Produce is now regulated at the Farmers Market. Roadside stands are now being carefully watched as t what is produced. One example-just happened- a roadside stand that has been in operation for years-family affair was told that their signage had to come down. The father recently died of cancer, daughter had been helping father in this enterprise for a long time and operation was moved to her house location but on the same farm! Actually just around the corner of the fields. The sign was on dad's property. Couty cited them. Family got an attorney-no messing around. Family went both directions of their sign on the hwy. ( do not know how far down the road in either direction) and found over 600 sign violations. County backed off.

It is coming-no matter what IT is- it will not be good. The goal and the desire to be able to dictate to all the philosophy of " the greatest good for the greatest number" chosen by a few-is already here in many forms.

I sent a letter to Stossel. You never know.

Nick was reading something last night... "Lever Action" is the name of the book.

The author says that we need to be careful how we word things. If we say something along the lines of, "This has become a police state," then we concede that they have already won.

How much more apropos to say, "They are a bunch of crooks, and they shall be in prison in the future."

I'm liking the reframe.

HF, they HAVE decided to seek legal counsel and take it to the courts. For that, I am grateful, as it helps to establish precedent for the rest of us.

I can't get away, but if those of you who are down there in the Ozarks can get to the next court date (whenever that happens), it would certainly be a great show of support for the Dixons as well as a warning to the govt to quit messing with the law.

BTW - for those who don't know, it is perfectly legal to sell raw milk here in MO, and by gosh and by golly, I'm going to do what I can to make sure that it stays that way.

You got it, Alice.

WE ALL MUST MAKE OUR VOICES HEARD.

We MUST get the word out, and we have to write to the prostiticians and media to let them know about this outrage.

When something bad is going on in darkness, we have to drag it out into the light of day.

The Dixon's farm is the SECOND one that's being persecuted in the past six months or so. The Bechard Family Farm is also under attack. Seems our illustrious attorney general doesn't have enough bad guys and gangs to go after - he has to set up a sting operation against the Bechards. His case has more holes than a swiss cheese, but he still persists.
http://www.bechardfarm.com/rawmilk.htm

It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings, folks, and we have got to do our best.

Write letters, send emails, faxes, make phone calls.

Online petitions are not really effective. Make your contacts individual, and make sure that you get results.

Which reminds me. Sam Graves said he was going to get back to me, but I haven't heard anything yet. He gets a follow-up letter to see what's taking him so darned long.

All y'all, keep going. Make a goal of a letter a week - or a day. Get the world out, and keep it going.

People HAVE to know that Big Biz and Big Brother are in bed together, and they're stealing us blind.

I was getting worried that I would have the food police show up at my door. I have 1 customer that buys 1/2 a gallon of goats milk from me every week, I told her what was happening to Morningland and she said that they would have to torture her before she gave up info on where she was getting her raw milk...not sure if that really made me feel better though LOL

Yeah, it used to bug me, too, but now I've decided that, as soon as milk production gets to the point where I have enough to sell, I'm going to do JUST that.

Ain't no way on God's green earth I'm going to be intimidated by govt'al bullies. I don't tolerate ANY bullying, sure as heck won't put up with it from "public servants" who get paid to serve the people, NOT big business.

Hmph.

Our tax dollars are going to fund THIS?! We can't even FEED or barely EDUCATE our children in this country and the government somehow thinks this has some sort of priority?!! There are people out there defiling other human beings in this country and yet somehow we need the stinking MILK POLICE?! Pulllllleeeeze!!! People have been consuming raw dairy products since they discovered where milk came from for Pete's sake. In addition, raw milk cheese is treasured and expensive, so what the heck.

Gosh, this just ruffles my feathers every time I hear about it. My mom purchases raw goat's and cow's milk from a local farmer in Maine and now they are forced to have thier customers sign a waiver due to the so called risk. I will never understand because more of our population has become seriously ill due to products that are supposedly controlled and monitored by the FDA - go figure. Socialism - here we come.

NO.

With all due respect, "socialism - GO AWAY!"

The only way corporatism can take over our country is if we let it.

It is up to us to stand up and say loudly, clearly, unequivocally:

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!

We have to speak out. EACH ONE OF US.

Don't leave it for the other people to do it.

Write a letter. Heck, cut and paste someone else's letter and sign your own name. I'll print my latest to Chris Koster, the MO Attorney General.

And hey, just b/c you're not in MO, doesn't mean you can't speak up.

Write to the MO pols, but also to your own politicians. If there are laws against healthy food in your state, work to get them changed.

We are in a place where the very Constitution hangs in the balance. Don't kid yourself into thinking that it's just here in Missouri. If we let them get away with this in the Show Me State, what next?

YOUR VOICE MATTERS.

SPEAK OUT.
