Freezing Goat milk

I have frozen cow's milk in the past and thawed it to use for our drinking, and I have froze goat milk for keeping and using in case of dry doe. I know it isn't good for thawing and making anything of it, but how is it for drinking?

Mine gets froze quite often as after milking and filtering into a cold mason jar it goes in the freezer to cool down and well, I forget its in there. I dont notice a difference and when I remember to skim the little bit of cream I freeze it in a small container until I have enough to do something with. Just my 2c..

Freezing goat milk for drinking later is most successful if you freeze it RIGHT AWAY after straining. Don't let it wait at all.

I usually freeze up 15 gallon or so before I dry off to get us through until we freshen again. I just put one in the refrigerator and let it thaw. Good cold milk.

My husband thinks it tastes better after it's been frozen. I don't notice any noticible difference.

Goat milk IMO freezes and thaws perfectly.
