Feel really bad

Earlier today got a knock on my door, it was someone I never met before but they asked me if I was missing a goat...So I go and peer over the fence and start looking, this person is telling me its a brown and black goat running down the road around the bottoms (river).
Welp it wasn't one of mine. After I took the food out of the oven my DD and I went to look for it and couldn't find it...
It is worrying me I keep imagining the poor goat, loose, alone, with the coyotes and unleashed dogs around here. I know that if it were me I would be glad if someone picked up my goat and kept it safe. Maybe we should have looked harder. Gonna drive down there again tomorrow, just to check again...
Funny though I didn't know all the peeps around here knew about me and my goats.

Put some feed into a plastic pitcher or something similar and shake it when you get down there. I have found that to be the universal signal for a goat to come charging out of whatever it was doing to see what you have.

Call me crazy but I'm concerned about the stranger knocking at your door. Just hoping it's not a trick to lure you into a secluded area, alone. Just be careful.

Minelson has a real good point! Be real careful, there are some real crazy people out there these days! Besides us Goat people I mean! Hahaha!
Really I do hope you find the goat though, I would be real worried too!

If you've got a good leading goat, take her, too.

Didn't find it.
Funny that you said that Minelson because that thought did cross my mind too...
I only know my neighbors up here on the hill

I was afraid that they would take one of your babies when you left to go look, cause they are so darn cute!
