Not sure of the breed?

I went and paid a visit to the farmer who is giving me the twin baby goats. He said he started with boer 's but now he calls them brush goats what does that mean ? The mother is black with a little white. And one twin is white with a gray hind qtr. the other is brown with a light black streak down its back. So there you have it we are getting them this coming fri. Will post pictures maybe that will help.

Yep, I'd say they are cross breeds, cross breeds of what breeds is hard to say. The pictures will help folks here tell you what they may be crossed with though.

What ever they are I'm sure they are adorable & will make great little pets for you & your family. Probly a good way to start out & learn with as you all grow!

Brush goats = goats of unknown parentage, ostensibly "only good for clearing out brush." Kind of like mutt dogs or moggy cats. But like most mutts, they usually have nothing wrong with them other than lack of fancy papers extolling their heritage

Sounds like they are mixed with Alpine to me. I love my mutt goats. They are much hardier than my full bloods. Good luck with them.
