B.O.S.S. question

Ok, so I know that this is probably a silly question, but here goes:

Do you feed them the seeds with or without the hulls on? Do they get more roughage from having the hulls on or is it just the actualy inside seed they eat?

Thanks! (for not laughing)

Hulls on. I think they digest the whole thing. At least, I never find hulls in their poop or anything. I didn't know you could buy BOSS without the shells.

It's a treat and a supplement. I only give mine about 1/4 cup per day, mixed in with their other feed.

BOSS is part of my feed mix. I use 3 scoops of whole oats to 1 scoop of BOSS.
