ahhh... a little blue roan with bright copper points/frosted ears & cap...
yes'em.. we get several of those every kidding season.... this year blue roan came in all sorts of shades.. some with copper.. some solid blue roan (from very light blue to almost navy).. we also get blue roans with white splashes... with spots in those splashes.. part of the reason I love the nubians.. every kidding season is like christmas morning.. never know what we will get from one year to the next, colorwise.

Yeah, love the Blue roans. Had several at Nationals along with a silver and a pale grey coloring. Breeding the some of the ones here back to a solid black, so like Susie said its interesting all kidding season long.

I didn't see any at nationals this year, but that is awesome that they aren't uncommon.
That one isn't for sale - it is retained.
Susie, I wish you were closer! I'd sure be buying one!

Oh that is the WORST color and face I've ever seen. Look, I'm not all that far from you. Let me come and take her out of there for you so no one sees her there.
Ok I lied. She's gorgeous and I want one just like her!!!

Thanks, N.B.F.
Love the Blue! I like the brown/red markings with it - I think it is my fav. color on a Nubian.
That doeling I posted is a friend of a friend's doeling, not mine - I wish!

Funny how some love that coloring and I do not at all. I think it makes them look old and I passed on one Nubian because of that color. The two Nigies I had with that similar color I sold. But then again I am not a big fan of frosted ears either and like Nubians with soild color ears. Yarrow you had a few doelings that had nice solid brown ears, you can send those my way and keep all the blue roans, lol

She sure does remind me of Edith... I *allowed* myself to keep two blue roans this year... both related to Edith..
this is Edith's doe, DeeDee (sired by Journey)
this is Edith's nephew, Hodge (a Stella son sired by Journey)

Ah, Susie, the family resemblance is there! DeeDee and Hodge - two great goats!
