Is he by himself? Double check to make sure there isn't a teat or hair or something pinching. The boys can really be drama queens but he should be fine rather quickly. Mine just walked a little funny for about an hour or so. I know it's hard It will be ok.

Mine didnt cry but took him awhile to get used to it. Oh yeah was a bit before he would let me close to him again, think he took offense to it.

Last time I banded a little buckling was last year & he didn't really cru either.

Definately do check like Minelson suggested & make sure you don't have a teat in there or hair or belly skin pinching? He should be fine really if all of that checks out OK.

He checks out ok and the crying is now just occasional. Thank You all for being so kind! I think I feel worse than Jack does.

Sorry Stan, just speaking from experience dealing with all kinds of critters and humans...males are big babies when it comes to pain. They cry, complain, exaggerate louder and longer than females. I didn't mean to sound insensitive.

Just saying I've seen animals carry on when giving birth... Perfectly natural.
