Huh.

Okay, just when I'd resigned myself to retaining my blue roan doeling, someone who is looking for CAE neg does saw my ad on Craig's List and contacted me.

I have mixed feelings. I left the ad up on purpose. I've been feeling overwhelmed lately with all the chores. I was wondering how I'm going to milk two does next year, in addition to bottle-feeding kids.

But oh! I have grown fond of this one!

Help me to be practical here, folks... Cash in the hand, less work, maybe actually buy a new tire for the truck...

You wouldnt have to milk her or bottle feed babies, let her raise them.

Sell some milk and get a new tire.

Pygmybabies, you, Wintrrwolf, and I have GOT to get together. I know you're a couple hours away, but oh! The havoc we can cause between the three of us! BWAhahahaha!

Well, I may have a leeeeetle bit more time on my hands now.

Mabel just went home with her new family, and I feel VERY good about it. They love her, and while she was reluctant to leave home, I am sure she'll be happy to be part of a real honest-to-goodness HERD (as opposed to the small residential group we have here).

Srsly, the family who came out to see and then buy her are really great folks. I am so glad to have met them -- and hey! Now we can get ANOTHER MO goat junkie to meet with us!

HEY, NAT! ARE YOU READING THIS? STOP LURKING AND JUMP IN!!

I am one happy Pony!

I wonder if we could actually get a homesteading get-together here... Most folks are a couple of hours away from me, but we used to drive a few hours to get to Muller's Weekend....

Hm...

Hi Pony. It's the lurker here. We made it home with Mabel and we just love her. I wanted to thank you for trusting us with her. She is a great addition to our herd. We enjoyed meeting you also.. and yes, we are MO goat junkies!

Thanks for the update. I was hoping there'd be a note to say all of you were doing well together.

Hehe... The Dark Side in MO doesn't just have cookies. We have cookies and GOAT MILK!

Looking forward to meeting up one day Pony and nehimama...I really am.

LOL! Oh, I'm sure we'll meet one day: Here, there, or in the air, as they say.

But a MO meet would be nice...

I just got done telling one of my friends that I don't like to do all day excursions anymore. BUT...I would be up for going to MO to meet you all!!!LOL! that would be more than an all day excursion too! Maybe Thaiblue could make the extra leg and hook up with me here and we could come together...and Chewie too! Sounds like fun! Can we bring our goats and dogs too?
