Oberhasli is doing better...

My Oberhasli is doing better, my camera's battery is not taking a charge anymore and I'll have to wait till we get paid to buy another one so I couldn't get a picture of her-sorry. O.k what I did was to use Hoeggers natural dewormer on her and my goodness did she pass the worms! Most of my sheep and goats won't touch their dewormer but she was on it when I bought her so she actually likes it. She is being picky about eating now but at least she doesn't have that gaunt look anymore although she is still on the thin side. Thank you for all your advice. I have talked to my vet recently too and he says Safeguard is still working around here so I'll finish off the year with either Cydectin or Safeguard and then stick with one of them for all of next year. I guess the protocals are that we use only one dewormer a year and then change to another one next year. He told me that Safeguard is used for three days in a row though, that's going to be tough for me to do by myself. The goats are so greedy and naturally curious that I can normally deworm them pretty easily but they also catch on quickly and I think by the third day I'm going to have a serious fight on my hands with most of them. It isn't going to be pretty!! The Oberhasli gets wormed weekly but she likes the stuff so I'll keep her on it as long as she will continue to take it. I know some people's goats love it but mine don't, maybe I'm just not mixing it right?
