Breeding a Mini Nubian

I am getting a mini nubian doeling, and am curious when I can breed her. I know about your standard full-sized goats, but not the minis. Maybe I'm putting in the wrong words in a search, but I just can't seem to find the answer.

Mini-nubians have an average adult weight of 75lbs. Does should not be bred until they are 60-75% of adult weight. Math for that is that Mini-nubians should not be bred until they are 45-57lbs.

I just avoid all of it and wait until they are over a year old.

I would say you "could" breed her with just about anything...BUT depends on what you are wanting to do..
If she is a first gen mini nubian you will want to breed her with another first gen buck...first gen =F1, thereby you will have F2 kids. F2 x F2= F3 And so on. I think at F4 they then can be registered as purebred...but the catch is the parent stock has to be registered.
If you breed her with a purebred nubian or nigi buck you will still have F1 kids, at any point be it F2 or F3 bred back to purebred.
If all you are wanting to do is breed for milk then size wise nigi might be the route to go. Of course you will want to wait until she is old enough or big enough weight wise.
I have a mini saanen doeling and a mini saanen buckling both are F1, was going to get into all that mini stuff, but now am not to sure.
