Pea hulls

I bought a bushel of purple hull peas and a 1/2 bushel of butter beans and was wondering if it would be okay to offer the hulls to the goats in moderation. I wanted to give it to them first and if it's not a good idea I'll try the chickens. Lastly it'll make a great addition to the compost pile.

They are eating the alfalfa and some grain-they've eaten all the brush they want. I'm hoping to offer them something different just because.

My sheep won't eat them, but it can't hurt to give it a try

I would wash them well first and let dry. I know goats enjoy the left overs from our garden. Just be sure no insecticide was used recently on those.
