Sick 2 week olds not nursing and diarrhea

I have a set of triplets (Nubian/Boer) That are 2 weeks old and all pretty small- have had runny poops for several days and yesterday stopped nursing. Tried bottle feeding them but that didn't go so well... They were up, just not interested in eating.
Runny, very stinky tan/medium brown poops.
Per my horse vet last night I gave them a tiny bit of gentimycin (its all I had on hand) drop of banamine, and pepto (I mixed this with a pinch of gatorade and molasses. This morning they are up and look a bit more active, maybe have nursed a bit, but I didn't spend a ton of time with them yet this morning.

I am thinking I need to treat for cocci? Can you usually buy Albon or Sulmet at TSC? I hope so cause they are open on sundays!

Thanks for the help guys!!

I would treat for Cocci...I would at least check at TSC I think I have heard of people getting it there. I used Di-methoox on mine. Here is what Fias says..http://fiascofarm.com/goats/coccidiosis.htm
I would not do any more molasses and I would get some Probios and baking soda into them. I hope someone else with more experience comes on to help...

I agree with Minelson. I hope TSC is open since it is a holiday. Not sure where you are but if they aren't open maybe there is someone on here that is close and can give you something to treat for cocci.

Do you have any nuflor or excenel? I would get him started on antibiotics and keep him hydrated.

I don't know if TSC will be open today but you def. want to get them on sulmet/dimethox ASAP and it sounds like the little boy may need another antibiotic for respiritory infection.

For future reference...it is a good idea to treat diarrhea or investigate the cause as soon as you notice it. Days later might be too late.

2 weeks is too young for cocci really. May be bacterial. I had one that did this and used herbs so I'm not sure what you use as far as drugs go. I'm not real familiar with antibiotic drugs.

not sure where you are at, but if you are having this heat and humidity like everyone else is, is is probably pneumonia.

Antibiotics and if they are not nursing, tubed with either milk or electrolytes.

Good luck.

UPDATE!

well not so great.... so I took babies in monday to an actual goat vet nearby. Told her what I had given them over the weekend as directed by my horse vet and she looked at me in horror basically... she said NO pepto, banamine or genticin for baby goats that young.

Pulled a stool on one and she was loaded with small strongyles... AND they were only 2 weeks old. Which means they were infected in utero. I had dewormed the doe at birth with ivermectin. Apparently she has a resistance to it. Treated babies with Albon and Strongid. AND the doe has mastitis. Got it all thrown at us I guess

So I separated them tried to bottle feed for 24 hrs with another does milk, not much luck. Took them back in today, I thought to euthanize them as one was having sezuires this morning but she said they are severely dehydrated and wanted to give them a chance on fluids. Poor babies!!! They need lots of luck I think!!

My doe also had small stronglyes of course so was wormed with strongid today and started on penicillin for the mastitis. UGG!
