poisoned goat charcoal ?

How much and how often do you give the charcoal. I have capsules should I open them up and x w/ water and drench? Does it make them puke or does it pass though them?
Should I give B shots too?
Poisoned goat again... I have to get them out of here!!!
What is your experience w/ giving pepto?

Charcoal goes through. If you have capsules I would bolus them. I did not have capsules so I mixed it with yogurt and fed it. Pepto did nothing for my doeling after eating azaleas. The charcoal and mineral oil seemed to help my buckling.

What did she get poisoned with?

Oh no! I am not sure how much to use because I have always used the premixed charcoal gel but I sure hope they pull through for you!

I've seen charcoal and clay in tubes at the farm store. I doubt you could get enough charcoal into a goat to hurt them.

I have used aquarium charcoal (crushed/ground to a powder) and drenched the two I had eat mtn laurel. Since I have several tanks it is always on hand. If I remember correctly FiascoFarms.com has a homemade antidote recipe for mtn laurel. Make sure they have access to fresh water and check it often (they will make a mess of it). Hope all goes well, mtn laurel is hard to get rid of I know I've tried and am still trying.

Doe is better! yeah! Just to drenches of the charcoal paste that I found ate the feed store.
And sadly enough I brought them to a friends' house until the fencing is better, and the laurel is under control. I hope they're safer their. But she offered to watch them for as long as I needed. So Im happy we don't have to sell them!
